Last season David Jones took a trip to The Big Apple to shoot the department store’s glossy campaign starring Miranda Kerr. For spring/summer 2012, the glittering turquoise waters and white sands of Broome provided inspiration a little closer to home.
Miranda looks sleeker than ever, sporting a Grace Kelly do and a peaches and cream complexion, wearing a kaleidoscope of bright colour and print from the likes of Dion Lee, Lover and Romance Was Born.
Local models Samantha Harris and Montana Cox also make an appearance in some of the freshest looks from C&M Camilla and Marc, EP by Easton Pearson and Zimmermann to name a few.
“This summer we want to make you dream,” said Sophie Clark, general manager of womenswear, of the campaign photographed in two parts by Nicole Bentley and Hugh Stewart. Come August 13 you can make the dream a reality with the new collections available in store and online.
