IT’S the annual fashion list which separates the trash from the treasure, the sublime from the suburban and the fabulous from the faux pas.But Who magazine’s Best and Worst dressed roll call may go a tad further than that this year.In fact it’s set to further inflame the blistering retail battle between rival department stores David Jones and Myer.And it’s likely to be DJs dressing down the local selection of judges, after they named mega-model recruit Miranda Kerr behind Myer’s Jennifer Hawkins in the coveted best dressed list.While the competitive model mavens feature as the only Australian representatives on either list, judges Kate Ritchie, Ian “Dicko” Dickson, stylist Annebelle van Tongeren and Project Runway’s Henry Roth named Hawkins second only to Hollywood actress Charlize Theron, while Kerr comes in fourth after Katie Holmes.”Both women have a fabulous personal style and are great ambassadors for Australian fashion,” Who editor Nicky Briger told Confidential.”Jennifer Hawkins daytime dresses with the same level of aplomb with which she dazzles on the red carpet, while Miranda Kerr still wowed the judges with her unpretentious glamour.”Source: Couriermail.com.au
