Kerr is David Jones’s fashion ambassador and was expected in Sydney soon for modelling commitments.

But David Jones issued a statement this morning revealing that Kerr has had to pull out of next week’s 2010 summer fashion launch because she will be on her honeymoon.

‘‘We have been trying to plan this for some time and unfortunately the only window of opportunity for our honeymoon fell at the same time as the David Jones fashion launch,’’ Kerr said in the statement.

‘‘David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together.’’

David Jones’s senior buyer, Collette Garnsey, said: “Given the exciting news that Miranda and Orlando have recently wed  and will be enjoying their honeymoon together, Miranda unfortunately will not be with us. David Jones is thrilled for Miranda, Orlando and their families. This is an exciting chapter in their lives and they will share a wonderful future together.”

Meanwhile, speculation the couple are expecting a baby continues to mount.

Kerr, who was raised in the NSW country farming town of Gunnedah, first met the English-born Pirates of the Caribbeanstar backstage at a Victoria’s Secret lingerie fashion show in New York in 2006.

They began dating in late 2007.

Bloom, 33, is one of Hollywood’s top leading men, with roles in the billion-dollar box office movie franchises Lord of the Ringsand Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as Troy, Ned Kelly andElizabethtown.

They confirmed their engagement on June 21.

The announcement has sparked speculation the Australian supermodel could be releasing wedding plans, may be missing the upcoming DJs spring/summer launch, or that she is pregnant.

Kerr’s publicist Carli Lyon confirmed her client would be making an announcement at about 9am tomorrow but wouldn’t be drawn on whether she is pregnant.

It is understood the announcement will come from the US and is of a personal nature.

Kerr’s mother Therese has spent the last few weeks in LA with her daughter and recently returned home.

Just a few weeks ago, after announcing her engagement, the Victoria’s Secret and David Jones model said her Hollywood star husband-to-be would make a great father.

“I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day,” she told The Sunday Telegraph.

“And I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad.”

Moments after American actress Megan Fox announced that she would not take part in the third installment of the hugely successful ‘Transformers’ blockbusters, names of possible replacement female leads began popping up.

Among the names circulating on the internet, Israeli model Bar Refaeli has been mentioned, alongside British actress Gemma Arterton, Australian model Miranda Kerr, and Sports Illustrated cover girl Brooklyn Decker.

The popular website TheWrap reports that a source close to the production of the new Transformers film said that Arterton has already met with the director, while Refaeli and Kerr have auditioned with the film’s casting director.

However, the website AICN offers a different list of possible candidates, including actress Zoe Saldana, who portrayed the female lead in the immensely popular film Avatar, Hayden Panettiere of the television series Heroes, and Ashley Greene who starred in the Twilight film series.

If Refaeli scores the role, it will be her Hollywood debut. She has one previous film in her repertoire, Israeli director Haim Bozaglo’s “Session,” and a leading role in the Israeli telenovella “Pick Up”.

The Aussie model — who’s currently dating Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom — says she loves looking after her body, and would do so even if she wasn’t in fashion.

“Regardless of whether I was doing this job or not I would be taking care of my body,” she said.

“It’s something that I’ve always believed in growing up.

“We always ate organic vegetables. Taking care of my mind, body and soul is very important. Yoga is very good for me.”

Kerr has previously revealed that she likes to eat fried chicken and meat pies.

“I studied nutrition and really believe in healthy eating and wellbeing but I do have my moments,” she said earlier this year.

“My grandmother cooks a delicious meat pie which I love or I have fried chicken sometimes.

“If you eat healthily all the time you don’t have the energy to perform, so pie and chicken are great for me.”

‘Luminaries’ is a new solo exhibition by renowned British artist Pam Glew, who brings her own brand of iconic imagery Sydney for her first exhibition in Australia from May 6 – 22, 2010.

Pam Glew is a contemporary artist, best known for her unique method of ingraining imagery onto opulent and richly textured fabrics. She uses dye, stitch, bleach and other removal mediums to paint portraits on material so that the portraits seem to magically emerge from the fabric. Pam will sometimes embellish a piece with stitching and embroidery creating a beautiful and delicate finish to her mesmerising art work.

This will be the first time she has exhibited in Australia – her work already features in important collections in Europe, USA and the Far East. The artist has been featured in various Urban Art shows in London, Los Angeles and Paris.

In past exhibitions, Pam has incorporated her work into antique and vintage US and UK national flags. To celebrate her arrival in the Southern Hemisphere as well as this major solo show in Sydney, Pam will be working for the first time with the Australian flag. This unique collection will be expertly crafted by the artist using vintage denim, stars and stripes and antique red, white and blue linen.

As with past works, she’ll use images of iconic and celebrated individuals within our society. For this special Australian solo show, her works will feature the UK’s favorite Australian sisters – Danni and Kylie Minogue, as well as homegrown international supermodels Miranda Kerr and Gemma Ward.

Pam has taken inspiration from the Australian flag itself, with hints of astronomy and a star lit-night sky evident. Each portrait could almost be a film still with an extraordinary luminance which seems to radiate or reflect light.
